Postsurgical Pain After Cardiac Surgery—An Update on the Evidence

Pain is a big concern for most patients after cardiac surgery. Each surgical intervention is associated with the patient’s perception of pain, and every surgical patient may feel it in a different way. This presentation is about postsurgical pain after cardiac surgery, which remains a clinical challenge. The presentation will provide an update on some of the evidence related to postsurgical pain.
