Apple Vision Pro Spatial Computing for Endoscopic Mitral Valve and VSD Surgery

The Apple Vision Pro system was used for the first time in the world to support decision-making during an endoscopic mitral valve repair procedure. The system gave surgeons the ability to consult and share images with gestures during the procedure, which enabled better identification of the exact margins of the resection of the posterior leaflet. The potential for online consultation and teaching was verified during the case.
