The authors present the case of a 39-year-old woman with a diagnosis of Marfan syndrome, a mutation found on FBN1, and aortic root dilatation. She underwent an aortic valve reimplantation using the T. David-V Stanford modification. Ischemic time was 94 minutes, and cardiopulmonary bypass time was 101 minutes. In the postoperative echo, no aortic regurgitation was found, with no residual prolapse and an effective height of 9 mm. The postoperative course was uneventful, and she was discharged home on postoperative day seven.
